Neat and Tangled Release Day 2

Hi!! It's the second day of Neat and Tangled's release! The stamp we're showing off today is Tiny Triangles.

This card was super fun to make. I used a watercolor technique. If you're a perfectionist, this may not be the technique for you. You just have to deal with what you get and I'm super happy with how mine turned out. First I put my stamp on the block. I then took my watercolor pallet and picked out three coordinating colors. I randomly started painting the stamp blending the colors together in some areas. I didn't use a lot of water. The more water I used, the more blotchy it turned out to be in some areas. While the background piece was drying, I took a piece of vellum and stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and covered with black embossing powder. I then adhered it with glue. To finish off the card, I placed it on a piece of purple cardstock. LOVE how it turned out. What do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Make sure to head over to the shop to pick these stamps up. They're adorable and such a great price so I know they'll go fast!! :)

Lil Inker Designs Day 3

Hi everyone! Today's the last day of the hop! I have created two more cards for you. The first is a pretty bold card.. not typically my style. I first started by masking off areas and go back in with Hero Arts Shadow Ink to create a striped effect. With the new Spring Sentiments stamp, I stamped the flower image and then die cut it with one of the banner dies. I then die cut my inspirational quote from two separate pieces of cardstock. One was covered with Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe Ink while the other was covered with Versamark gold embossing powder. I also covered the sides of the card with gold embossing powder.

For my next card, I took the same flower image and stamped it with Soft Cantaloupe ink all over the card front. I then brought in some Distress Ink to give the card a more country/vintage feel to it. On a piece of craft cardstock, I stamped some lines with Versamark ink and then stamped the sentiment in brown ink. To finish off the card, I used some brown hemp twine as an embellishment behind the raised sentiment.

Well that's about it from me! Here's a look at all of my projects for the release!

Here's the hop list in case you need it! ;)

Neat and Tangled, My Favorite

For my other post from today, go HERE.

Hi there, again. I'm posting today for Neat and Tangled's March release. Some adorable products were released and I loved making projects. Today I'm going to show off a stamp that says "You are my most favorite" which is perfect because I tell my husband that all of the time!

For the base of the card, I watercolored with three different colors. I then took a piece of vellum and stamped the image with Versamark and covered it with silver embossing powder.

To finish off the card, I die cut the bottom of the vellum and stapled it to the card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait to show you my card for tomorrow! :)

Lil Inker Design March Release Day 2

It's day 2 of the release for Lil Inker! For the first card, I'm showing off Stitched Butterflies. I die cut the butterflies from different cardstocks. The sentiment is from Spring sentiments.

For the next card, I die cut a few different flowers from the Spring Flowers Die set. This set is so adorable! It was super fun creating it!! :) The sentiment is from the Darling Diamonds set.

So I'm in love with this last card, like for real. It's so colorful and fun. I first took the Swirls cover up die and die cut all different kinds of colors. I next paper pieced everything together to the way I wanted it to look. I then used the oval die and cut a piece of vellum. I then took the new stitched letters and numbers dies and cut out the sentiment. :) What do you think?!

Here are the new sets I used.

So here's the hop list!! Make sure to see what everyone else is up to!!!

Lil' Inker March Release

It's release day over at Lil' Inker!! So excited to show you some of her awesome products!!!

My first card is featuring those adorable bunny dies!

I mean seriously... how ADORABLE are they?!  For my first card, I took a piece of cardstock stamped the background with a pink flower stamp from Spring Sentiments.  I then took a piece of vellum, die cut it with the one of the oval Lil Inker dies and popped it up on clear foam.  I then die cut the bunny (and her bow) from white and pink cardstock. To finish off the card, I corner punched the edges and added glossy accents to the bow!

For my next card, I used Spot On Spring. Such a fun set.

I tried to get a little creative and make a "vine" look to the card. Needless to say, I curved the straight line stamp. First I stamped the flowers in a fun pink ink. I then added the "vines" and leaves. I took another one of the new release products, Mixed and Stitched Alphabet Die set and die cut Spring 3 times from white cardstock. I then glued the pieces together to help give dimension to the card. Hello was used from the Spring Sentiments stamp set. To finish it off, I added some fun sequins!!

The new sets I used:

Well, what do you think so far?! There's a bunch of stops along the way!! Here's the list just in case you get lost! :)

RIC#56

Isn't this photo gorgeous?! Awesome inspiration for the Runway Inspired Challenge. It was a lot of fun making my card and I hope you'll join in on the challenge. :)

For the background, I used a set from Mama Elephant. The roses are a set from PTI. The sentiment is from Avery Elle. I feel the card came together nicely and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Make sure to stop along all the blogs to see their great creations.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Runway Inspired Challenge

Today's another challenge day over at Runway Inspired. I love the dress above. It is so elegant and just absolutely gorgeous. For my project, I wanted to keep it simple. I focused on the gold and black and here's what I came up with.

I used a stamp set and die from PTI to create this card. I first took a piece of cardstock and die cut the ampersand. I then stamped the sentiments. On my cardbase, I took versark ink and rubbed it along the middle portion. I then added gold embossing powder and heat set it. I took my stamped piece of cardstock and popped it up on foam dots to create a more dimensional look. To finish off the card, I chomped the corners.

Oh--disclaimer. Please don't mind the poor quality photo. My camera pooped out on me the other day and it's in the shop getting fixed so it's iPhone pictures for the next couple of weeks. :(

Well that's about it for me today. I hope you've enjoyed!

Happy Birthday

**Just to add a little before we get to the card, I just wanted to apologize for the crappy quality of this picture. My camera broke :( and it's currently in the shop**

Here's a card I made for Avery Elle's first challenge for their new challenge blog! It's birthday themed and here's what I came up with. :)
