Personal Post :)

Hi! I never do personal posts so I figured it's time for one. :) I just wanted to share a few pictures with you of our time here in San Diego so far. Ya know, my husband and I never wanted to move here in the beginning but with the Navy, you don't get a choice. We're making the best out of it.

This is me and my husband, Michael. We took a trip to Julian and had a mini photo shoot in the apple orchard!

I think this one is by far my favorite. :)

Oh, and I'm in love with this one as well! He's so handsome!!

Here's me on the cliffs in Point Loma!

Here are a couple of photos of our babies! This is of Brody.

This beautiful girl is Bree!

These pups and my husband keep me sane. Oh--and card making! I am so excited though for our trip coming up towards the end of November. We're going back to the PNW. Ahh--I can't wait!

We would always take our quads to Tahuya and go mudding! Gorgeous!

This was at Mount Rainier!

This adorable chipmunk was at Hurricane Ridge in Port Angeles during July.

This was at Hurricane Ridge as well in November!

Those are just a few pictures I put up--I'm getting excited for our visit already!

Well thanks for stopping by and looking at all my photos and me reminiscing on the past! :)

Relaxing Sunday!

Hey Y'all! It's a gorgeous day here in San Diego! I had to get caught up on a card for the Sweet Blog tomorrow and here's what I came up with! :)

I also joined the Neat and Tangle Challenge today. Of course I made a Halloween card. I'm really in the Halloween spirit and I'm kinda bummed I have to work that day. Oh well... At least I can enjoy all of my decorations and card making until then! :)

I'm also entering the Halloween card into Simon Says Challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Second Tag for Blog Hop:

For this card, I stamped a white card base and then added vellum over the top. I'm glad I did. It softened it so much! :)

Neat and Tangled Guest Designer Post

Hi! Today was my last post on Neat and Tangled's blog for my guest designer spot of October. I'm a tad sad... I had so much fun but hopefully I'll be able to join again soon! Thanksgiving is coming up soon so I decided to make a festive card. Plus I saw this fun inspiration from Moxie Fab.

My card doesn't have leaves on it but when I think of leaves, I think of Fall--and with Fall comes Thanksgiving! :) Love it!

Well thanks for stopping by :) It's always appreciated!

Neat and Tangled Guest Designer Week 2

I'm back today with another card using Neat and Tangled's awesome products. I'm seriously in love with their stamps. They are so versatile!

I used Simple Christmas again today for my card. This card, although it may look easy took me a few times to get it the way I wanted it to look. To make it easy, I took a banner and outlined it with pencil. From there, I stamped around the pencil marks with different greenery pieces. I popped up my pinecones with foam dots as well as my finished banner. Another card that can be easily recreated to send to family and friends. :) Super fun!  Also, if you missed last week's card post and looking for a fun Halloween card, click HERE. Can't wait for another guest post next week.

October Sweet Stamp Shop Release

**Edit--I had no idea Nicole was doing a giveaway for the three new sets released today! Go HERE to join in on the giveaway.

Guess what day it is!?!? Release Daayy!! *in that fun hump day camel voice*

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. With another month that's passed, I can't express the gratitude to Nicole for choosing me to be on the Sweet team. She is so fun and creative and always comes out with awesome stamps and she definitely surpassed my expectations this month (like that was even possible!). Sweet Stamp Shop released three new stamp sets: Happy Hour, Speedy Greetings and What's For Dinner.

For Happy Hour, I created a fun card by masking and using my daubers. I felt it was really simple but showed the stamp off well!

Next up was What's For Dinner! Super fun set! :)

Last up is Speedy Greetings!  Such a fun, little Christmas set that is just adorable!!!

So what do you think of the release!? Sweet Stamp Shop has a 25% off coupon for all new sets released today! It goes through Friday at Midnight!!! Coupon code is: OR25.  :)

Also, the shop released new coordinating flair! You will definitely have to stop by the shop to see what flair there is to offer!

Wow! What a great release. Thanks for stopping by and remember to get your goodies before Friday so you can use that awesome coupon! See you soon, sweeties!

Neat and Tangled Guest Designer!

Hello!! I'm so excited to say that I'll be a guest designer over at Neat and Tangled for the next month! I'm so excited. Their stamps are so adorable and fun to use.  So what's your favorite holiday? Mine is a close tie between Christmas and Halloween. With Halloween rolling around later this month, I figured I would make a card geared towards that.

I wanted to think outside of the box with the awesome stamps Danielle sent me (which were mainly Christmas!). I took one of my favorite sets, Simple Christmas and with the half circle wreath, stamped it in black in twice to make a complete circle.  To add a little depth to the project, I used the evergreen pieces with grey ink.  This adorable little bow die was the perfect size for this wreath.  The sentiment Happy Haunting is from Graveyard Shift (another favorite of mine).  Simple and easy to recreate for many people! I can't wait for another guest post next week at Neat and Tangled!! :) Well that's all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Runway Challenge!

Hi! I'm joining a challenge over at the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog. I love playing along with this challenge.

How fun is that dress!? Here's what I came up with based on the inspiration photo!

I used three different stamp sets. The flowers are from Simon Says Stamp, the thicker lines are from Avery Elle and the skinny lines are from WPlus9! :) Sequins are from Neat and Tangled, of course!!

Well here's my little creation! :) This will also be entered into Simon Says Challenge this week. Thank you so much for stopping by! It always means a lot. Don't forget to become a follower ;)

Sweet Stamp Shop Halloween Card

So how many of y'all are feeling the crispness in the air? I sure am and I'm super excited about it. With Fall comes Halloween. Probably a close tie for first with Christmas. I have so many decorations I need to put up for Halloween. I'll take pictures and post them when I'm finished. Anyways, for today's card I used one of Sweet Stamp Shop's Halloween sets. So adorable!!!

I colored the castle with my Copics. For the windows, I added glossy accents and then put some glitter on the shingles to help it stand out. Quick tip! For the patchy spots on my shingles, I used my colorless blender to push away some of that color! It gave it a lot of dimension. For the accents, I used sequins and enamel dots. The enamel dots were originally green but I colored them black with my Copic marker.

I'll be entering this into a couple of challenges. First is Simon Says Stamp's We're Going Dotty Challenge.  Another challenge I'm entering this into is over at the Curtain Call Challenge. The theme is Spooky Scene!! So much fun!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! I love comments so don't hesitate :)
