Valentine's Day Watercolor!

So I hope y'all had a great Valentine's weekend! I spent a lot of it with my husband when he wasn't working. The other part was spent crafting for various design teams but I was lucky enough to get a card in for the Little Tangles Challenge. I ordered a few stamps from Neat and Tangled last week [which arrived like 2 days later] and wanted to create a card using them. The challenge was to create a watercolor piece which is right up my alley. I love anything watercolored. :)

I first started off with my watercolor paper base. I added some different watercolors and also used some Heidi Swapp gold spray. I then stamped my image from Neat and Tangled using Be My Valentine in purple ink. I die cut a few hearts from Simon Says Stamp. A couple of the hearts, I dipped in gold leaf. It took a little while to dry but I wasn't in any rush. I then adhered everything to the card and added some sequins to finish it off! :)

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! :) Hopefully I can get a chance to participate in more challenges soon!

Pinkfresh Studio February Blog Hop and Giveaway!!

Hi!! Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studios Blog Hop!! You should have arrived here from Jingle. If you got off track, you can start over from the beginning HERE!

Today we're showing off the February Embellishment Kit! These kits are packed full with adorable little goodies that all work so well together. You definitely won't be disappointed. I created a card to give you just an example of how awesome this kit truly is. Mostly all Pinkfresh supplies were used on this card, give or take a few items!

The kit has a lot of little gold embellishments inside so of course, like always my go to color to use with gold is coral. I watercolored the background in a fun splotchy way, no rhyme or reason. I added some spatter marks and if you can't tell, I also watercolored the little heart stamp also included in the kit and stamped it a few times for some added love! :) I then added it to a baselayer that complimented the watercoloring with foam adhesive.

I then stamped the sentiment [included as well in the kit] with some Hero Arts Shadow Ink, I'm pretty sure it was Fresh Peach and fussy cut around the edge. I adhered it with foam adhesive and then attached these awesome little gold embellishments. There's a lot of different shapes and sizes to choose from.  I felt it added a lot to the card! To finish it off, I added some of my own personal sequins. :)

Ahh!! Look at that gold. So awesome!!!!

So, what do do you think?! Pinkfresh will be giving away one January and one February kit!

Lil' Inker Design's January Release

Just to inform you, I'll only be participating in one day for the hop. I've had a lot of personal things happen recently, so I'm taking a break for me! :)

-------------------------

So for Day 1, I'm showing you two cards! I used the most adorable stamp set, Perfect Pairs. It has a bunch of cute little images that are so much fun to color! Here's what I came up with!!

I first took all the images and randomly stamped around a white card base with black ink. I knew I wanted to have one image in particular stand out with color so I chose the peas and carrot! I colored these with Copic markers!! :)

For the next card, I used Doodles Love Word Die and also the Quilted Swirl Stitch Pattern Die. I first started out with a blank piece of cardstock and blended colors together.  I then ran it through my Big Shot with the pattern die.

With a separate piece of cardstock, I die cut the love die and attached it to a piece of vellum. To finish off the card, I adhered some sequins to the cardbase.

Below are the products I used!!

Hi! I'm back once more for the final day of the December release!!! I have one card to show you which would be perfect for any future bride!!

I wanted a super simple card so I decided to create this. I started off with a white cardbase. On another sheet of white paper, I die cut the diamond and then covered it with glitter. I then adhered it to the base of the cardstock. I then stamped my sentiment in hot pink ink. To finish off the card, I chomped the corners.

Here are the products I used!

Lil Inker Designs December Release Day 2

I'm back again today to show you a few more products from December's release! Today I'm showing you some fun stamps and dies so let's get started.

For the first card, I watercolored the base. I then placed a piece from the faceted cover plate die in white cardstock. I then die cut using the Anytime Tags 2 die set. I then white heat embossed Hello from Hello, Awesome stamp set.

To finish off the card I added some sequins. I think this card would look perfect horizontal or vertical!! Totally your preference!

For the next card, I used Pink Paislee paper for the background. I then die cut Awesome from white cardstock and placed it on top of vellum. I then placed some enamel dots and sequins.  To finish the card off, I chomped the corners! I figured it'd be perfect for a new little girl or just for a girl in general!!

Here are the product graphics I used below!

Lil Inker December Release Day 1

Hi! I'm here with Lil Inker Design's December release! I'm showing you two cards today, Christmas cards at that. So lets get to it.

The first card, I used All About Ampersands Dies and All About Ampersands Stamp set from the new release. On the background, I stamped Cozy Winter Wishes in VersaMark Ink. I then die cut a snowflake using on of Lil Inker's dies and covered it with glitter. I then stamped the sentiments with pink ink and fussy cut around the edges. I cut the ampersand from green paper and I pieced it all together.

To finish off the card, I covered it with sequins and chomped the corners.

For the second card, I die cut using Long and Skinny Rectangles and heat embossed a sentiment from Big Christmas Stamp set. I then took the same snowflake die set and covered the dies in glitter. I then pieced the card together and voila!!

I love how this card turned out. It's so timeless!

Here are the sets I used below!

So, here's the blog hop list for the release! Make sure to stop by each and leave a comment to make sure you get a chance to win a gift card to the shop.

Add a Little Dazzle and Neat and Tangled Blog Hop

Hi there!!! Today I'm getting to participate in an awesome blog hop with Add a Little Dazzle and Neat and Tangled! I've actually never used ALD products before but when I got mine, I was just so excited!! They really do add some zazz to a project!! :) They offer many different colors and you can use them in numerous ways. But all week, the two companies have collided to create this awesome blog hop with some great prizes.

So here's my card for today. I started off with a blank sheet of cardstock. I used Neat and Tangled's Falling Flakes to stamp the background. I stamped it repeatedly in two separate blue inks. On my metal sheet of Princess Pink, I heat embossed a sentiment from Very Merry in white powder. Be careful, the metal gets hot. You'd think common sense would kick in but anyways, it didn't for me. lol

I then fussy cut around merry and placed it on foam adhesive for some dimension. I then stamped Christmas from the same stamp set. To finish the card off, I corner chomped the edges and added soem little rhinestones, of course! :)

Make sure to stop by all the blogs today for your chance to win a $25 prize pack from both companies!! :)
