Neat and Tangled July Release Day 2

I have a previous post showcasing a Runway Inspired Card. Make sure to stop by and look at it!! :)

So it's Day 2 of the release and today we're showing you Sailmates. I just gasped when I saw this set. Some of you may not know but my husband is in the Navy and this set is PERFECT for when he's out to sea to send him a just because card! :)

To start off, I watercolored the background and then heat embossed the waves. I then colored a sailboat and added it to the cardbase. To finish it off, I fussy cut around the red stamped heart, popped it up and added some red glitter!

Here's what the inside looks like!! :)  Make sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs so you can see all what this awesome stamp can create!! :) See you tomorrow!

Neat and Tangled July Release Day 1

Hi!! Today Neat and Tangled's Design Team is showing you one of their new stamp sets, Gifts for You. This stamp set is just so much fun!! It's perfect for Birthdays! Here's what I created :)

I used the little image stamps to create a background that would go behind my tag. On a separate piece of coordinating cardstock, I stamped the tag image and heat embossed the sentiments! I then added some twine and popped it all up on foam dots! To finish the card off, I adhered it with more foam dots to a piece of mint cardstock.

Well that's it from me today! Make sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs and for the next few days. We have some awesome products to show you!!!

Neat and Tangled May Release Day 4

Today's our last day showcasing Neat and Tangled's new products and my, have they been amazing! Today, we're showing you Clouds. It's an adorable little set perfect for cheering someone up!

I guess I'm really into the card piecing and geometrical designs because that's where I went with this card! This set is so adorable.  Each cloud has it's own little pattern on the inside.  Of course, I had to add in a silver streak to fit the sentiment!! :)

All the new sets are available in the shop. Make sure to pick you up some. I can't see these awesome sets lasting very long. :) Here's a peek at my other cards in case you missed them the first go around :)

Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

Neat and Tangled May Release Day 3

Oh my! Day 3 of the release and I think you're going to like what stamp we're showcasing today. Of course it's an awesome sentiment stamp!

I was going for a shabby chic look on this card... I think I got it. The rose stamps on the background are actually from the same sentiment. I just colored them with a distress marker and randomly stamped them for the background. :)

So tomorrow is the last day of the release. Hope to see you here!! :):) Take care!

Neat and Tangled May Release Day 2

It's day 2 of the release for Neat and Tangled. Today we're showing you Sunday School Songs. :)

I adhered a piece of patterned cardstock. On a separate piece, I stamped the sentiment and a heart (from the new Photo Booth set) and covered it with glossy accents. To bold the statement, I colored in JOY.  So simple, but I just love it!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. See you again tomorrow! :)

Neat and Tangled May Release Day 1

Today's the first day of the Neat and Tangled June Release! Are you excited?! Danielle has created some amazing stamps this month and I'm not the least bit surprised. Today the design team will be showing you Photo Booth. While I love the whole stamp set, I decided to just use the words alone. Here's what I came up with!

When I saw the sparkle, I knew I had to use glitter. I took a bunch of scrap paper and created this geometric design and snuck a piece of glitter paper in as well. I then heat embossed the sentiment and finally rounded the corners.

Pretty fun creating the card! :) and I love the colors.

Make sure to stop by the rest of the week. The release is going all the way till May 22!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Celebrate

Hi!! Kristen here with another post for Neat and Tangled.

I don't know about you but there are a ton of birthdays coming up in my family this summer. I figured I'd make a birthday card in fun, summery colors which can be used for a boy or girl! The stamp set I used is Just For You.

To be honest, the card is super simple and easy to mass produce which is another reason I wanted to make it! Sometimes, there just aren't enough hours in the day. To start off, I took a piece of white cardstock and folded it in half and trimmed the edges to make sure it could fit into a business envelope. [I may just make my own envelope for this card though!]

I then took different colored pigment inks that I felt looked good together and just started stamping the balloon image all over the card front. No rhyme or reason. Lastly I stamped the sentiment, Celebrate in the lower right hand corner with some Versafine Black ink. Of course I felt like the card didn't have enough so I added glossy accents to all the balloons. I was a little nervous at first but I like how the final product turned out. :) Lastly, I chomped the bottom corners!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!!

Neat and Tangled: Hope Anchors

Hey y'all! I'm over at the Neat and Tangled blog showing you different ways to use the Hope Anchors stamp.

I used the same layout on every card, just different materials and colors!! Here's what I came up with. :)

All three cards have a different feel! For the first, I wanted to use a coral, mint and gold ink pallet. I'm a such a sucker for these colors!!

For the second card, I used different shades of grey. Actually, they are from Simon Says Stamps new release of inks. They're seriously the perfect shades! I wanted to create an ombre effect with this card.

For the last card, I used your typical nautical colors: navy and red. I just love the simplicity of this card!

Well that's it from me today! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! :)

Neat and Tangled Release Day 2

Hi!! It's the second day of Neat and Tangled's release! The stamp we're showing off today is Tiny Triangles.

This card was super fun to make. I used a watercolor technique. If you're a perfectionist, this may not be the technique for you. You just have to deal with what you get and I'm super happy with how mine turned out. First I put my stamp on the block. I then took my watercolor pallet and picked out three coordinating colors. I randomly started painting the stamp blending the colors together in some areas. I didn't use a lot of water. The more water I used, the more blotchy it turned out to be in some areas. While the background piece was drying, I took a piece of vellum and stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and covered with black embossing powder. I then adhered it with glue. To finish off the card, I placed it on a piece of purple cardstock. LOVE how it turned out. What do you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Make sure to head over to the shop to pick these stamps up. They're adorable and such a great price so I know they'll go fast!! :)

Neat and Tangled, My Favorite

For my other post from today, go HERE.

Hi there, again. I'm posting today for Neat and Tangled's March release. Some adorable products were released and I loved making projects. Today I'm going to show off a stamp that says "You are my most favorite" which is perfect because I tell my husband that all of the time!

For the base of the card, I watercolored with three different colors. I then took a piece of vellum and stamped the image with Versamark and covered it with silver embossing powder.

To finish off the card, I die cut the bottom of the vellum and stapled it to the card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait to show you my card for tomorrow! :)

Neat and Tangled Release Day 3

It's day 3 for the Neat and Tangled release and I have an awesome stamp set to show you! :) Today we're showcasing Stop + Go. This is a super versatile stamp has all of your go to sayings in it. It also coordinates well with On the Corner.

Here is the card I'm showing today!

For this card, I took a piece of light teal cardstock. I then took a distress ink, Peacock Feathers and blended the around the outside of the card to make it look like something you'd see off of Instagram! I then stamped a few of the sentiments with Versamark and heat embossed them with white powder.

To finish off the card, I added a popped up pink heart and covered it with glossy accents. :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed the card today! I think this is by far my most favorite card, EVER! See you tomorrow for the big release!!

Neat and Tangled Release Day 1

Hey there! It's release day over at Neat and Tangled and we have 4 full days of awesomeness coming your way. Today we're showing off Hope Anchors which will be available for purchase this Thursday, 2/20. It's an adorable 3x4 stamp with an inspirational saying. Of course I thought of my husband first when I saw this with me being a Navy wife and all :)

Don't you just love the colors? I feel like spring is in the air when I use these colors! The two colors I used were soft granite and tide pool from Hero Arts Shadow Inks. The anchor was covered with silver Ranger embossing powder.

Here's a close up of my handy work.

That's all from me for today. Make sure to stop by the Neat and Tangled blog. A free stamp is up for grabs!!! :)

Little Tangles Guest Designer

Hi! Today I'm guest designing with Little Tangle's Challenge Blog! The challenge theme was to create a project using the colors white and gold. I had so much fun with this challenge! :) Here's my take!

I first took a piece of white cardstock and embossed it with a polka dot folder. I then ran it through my Big Shot after with a bracket die and adhered it to the card with foam dots. Next, I die cut and glittered a snowflake. The stamp set used above is Simple Christmas.  For the wreath and sentiment, I stamped it in VersaMark Ink, gold embossing powder and heat set it. I fussy cut the wreath and tied some gold baker's twine to the top. For a finishing touch, I added some gold sequins from Neat and Tangled and rounded the corners!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I can't wait to see your take on the challenge!!

**This will also be entered into Cas-ual Friday's Out on a Limb Challenge! :)
