Blog Hop Challege

Here's a card I made. It's super simple but elegant. Perfect for a wedding or shower! It goes along with the Blog Hop Challenge over at Make it Monday for Papertrey Ink! I used Stampin' Up's paper, ink and impression plate. The two birdies are a stamp from Papertrey Ink. The lace and pearl ribbon is just some left overs I had laying around! Hope you like it!

Christmas Card Challenge

This is the last card I'll post for today. This one was too fun to make! I used a lot of Stampin' Up products with this but all of the paper is from Papertrey Ink! I'm going to enter into the Make it Monday Challenge over at Papertrey Ink's blog. I think I'll also enter this into the Dynamic Duo Challenge since it fits the color scheme! :)

I put glitter around the mistletoe to fit the Make it Monday challenge! Hope you like it! :)

Merry and Bright

Here's another card! It's for the challenge over at Retrosketches Blog. Here's the sketch we had to follow.  I will also be using this card for a Make it Monday challenge over at Papertrey Ink's Blog. It was to use a little detail of glitter. I used the glitter over the antlers. Love!

I used all Papertrey Ink paper. The background stamps [excluding the polka dots] are from Papertrey as well. Of course the ink I used is from Stampin' Up. I just love all of their colors. I just ordered the rest of the ink sets so I'll have all the inks by tomorrow! Yay! :) Hope you enjoy the final product!

Happy Birthday Flower Card

Today, I wanted to join retro sketches challenge. Here's the sketch I needed to follow! I really liked the layout so I was pretty excited to make this card :)

I just received another Papertrey Ink package in the mail the other day. So I decided to use my new stamp set, Delightful Dahlia Stamp Set. So fun! For the background stamp, I used their Sheet Music Stamp Set. I used Stampin' Up's Calypso Coral's ink and paper. For the green I used Stampin' Up's Lucky Limeade ink and paper as well. For the tulle, I use what I had lying around from Joann's. On the inside, I stamped a simple Happy Birthday. So here it is. I hope you love it as much as I do :)

So I LOVE this card, and I'm entering it into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge this week. It was an anything goes so I had to use this one! ;)

Joy

So I decided to join another challenge this week. This time it's over at The Play Date Cafe
This week's challenge was to use the colors black, white and maroon. I didn't have maroon so I went with plain ole red and here's how it turned out. :) I used Stampin' Up's ornament cutouts and Papertrey Ink's Christmas Signature Sentiments. Everything else was older supplies I had laying around.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Here's another Make it Monday Challenge. The challenge was to use layered vellum. I used Papertrey Ink's Snowflake Medley Die Cut Set. I then took it's coordinating snowflake stamp and stamped it with VersaMark from Stampin' Up. I used some glitter I had lying around to put on top of the clear ink. As I let those dry, I made the base of my card. I used some old Christmas paper I had and placed a piece of vellum over top to soften it up a bit. I placed it all together using some glue. I then stamped a sentiment with Papertrey Ink's Signature Christmas Stamp. I used some of Stampin' Up's ink to stamp the sentiment. Love how it turned out :)

Just a Little Christmas Note

Here's another one I did for the faux pocket challenge. I loved how this one turned out as well. These are the colors found around my home at Christmas. It definitely got me in the Holiday spirit! I used Signature Christmas StampsTwinkle Stamp Set, and just some regular old paper. I also embellished it with some fun ribbon trim I had lying around the house!! I'm so glad I got into card making. I love it!!

Happy Holidays

Here's a card I made! It goes along with Papertrey Ink's Make it Mondays. It was faux pocket week and here's what I came up with. This is my first card and I think it turned out pretty good! :) I used their Snowflake Medley StampSignature Christmas Stamp, and some fun paper of theirs. I love the color scheme! Super fun :)

Introductions are in order...

Hi, I'm Kristen! Welcome to my blog. It's my first ever. I figured I needed to start one to keep all of my awesome fans up to date with what's going on in my life.

Here we go! First, I'm a wife and married to an awesome guy. No kids yet... one day. I do have a puppy. She's a German Shepherd and her name is Bree! She's my heart and soul.

I guess she's not a puppy. She'll be three in October! :) We recently moved outside of Seattle, WA and we LOVE it up here. If you ever get a chance to visit, please do so. There is so much to see and do. I'd suggest to come during the summer months though, less rain and more daylight. This place is definitely different from home [[Florida]] but we love new places and to travel. I recently graduated nursing school with my RN degree. I passed my WA boards and am [[on paper]] ready to tread into the world to get my first real career started. It hasn't happened yet though--it's nice taking a break after being in school your whole life. I'll get out there soon enough, don't you worry ;) That's what I've been telling my husband at least!

Well I started this blog to reach out to all of my fans. I started a little crochet business a short while ago. It's So Posh Creations. It's basically crocheted newborn items. I also do a lot of the upcycled sweater hats, crocheted reversible blankets and lace crowns! It's a lot of fun to do and I love seeing my work in action from customers :) It's a very fun and relaxing hobby.

Hopefully as I get further along in my "crocheting career", I'll have a ton to add here. I have so much to share with y'all [[southern twang just there]]. If you have any questions, I have tabs --------> over there. It'll take you to my Facebook, email and even Pinterest if you really want to creep on me that day!

Oh--I guess I should put a picture of my hubby up. He may get jealous since Bree's up. :P He's a keeper, I think!
