Lil Inker Designs Day 3

We're back with the last day of the blog hop for LID's awesome July release! Today I'll be showing you two stamps: Sketched Florals and Angel Policy.

For my first card, I stamped the image in pink and used the coordinating die cuts. I then cut a stem from some green cardstock I had laying around. I adhered a piece of patterned cardstock [using the Pinking Edges die] to the base of the card. I then placed the flower pieces on the card front. Towards the side, I stamped a sentiment in black ink.

To finish off the card, I rounded the corners and added the sentiment from Sketched Florals.  In the picture below, I stamped the image using the new Angel Policy. Perfect for marking cards on the back!!

Here are the products below:

Lil Inker Designs July Release Day 2

Hi! Today's day 2 of the Lil Inker release and I'm showing you some awesome products. I'm going to be showing you Cut it Out Clouds and Dancing in the Rain.

For my first card, I die cut the images from gray cardstock and vellum. I adhered them to the card and the added cute little lightning bolts.

To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card! Of course it wouldn't be complete if I didn't add a couple hearts here and there :)

That's it from me today. Your next stop is to Lea's blog! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Lil Inker July Release Day 1

Hi and welcome!! For the next three days, we'll be showing you some awesome Lil Inker products that will be coming out this month. This release is "seriously" going to be awesome! You'll love it.

So for my first card, I took one of the new sets, Fancy Feathers and stamped the background of a white cardbase. I then added the word die and stamped a sentiment beside that!

For my next card, I took a piece of grey carstock and stamped the heart from Seriously Awesome over and over again to get my background. I die cut a piece of vellum from the Pinking Edge dies and stapled it to the base. I then heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set I used before. To finish off the card, I added the Seriously word die sentiment and rounded the corners. I love how it turned out! :)

Below are all the stamps and dies I used to create these cards! :)

So the next stop on your hop is Lea Lawson ;) Make sure to leave comments along the hop. You may just get chosen for a gift card to the store!! See you tomorrow. :)

Hi there! Today were having a blog hop with Pinkfresh Studios! They have some awesome products and I'm going to show you one of their newer stamps & Hello. So adorable!

To create this card, I took a blank piece of card stock and stamped the background with a like color. I then, on a separate piece of cardstock, stamped the hello sentiment and fussy cut around the edges. To finish the card off, I stapled the piece and added Neat and Tangled sequins, white enamel dots and some buttons.

I love how it turned out! The colors are right up my alley! So make sure you stop by all the blogs in the hop for your chance to win some awesome prizes :) Your next stop on the hop is Ashley's blog!

Neat and Tangled July Release Day 4

Today's the day for Neat and Tangled's release!! The last set we're showing you today is called Punchinella. I had never heard of Punchinella before but basically, it's the left over sheets that sequins are made from!! So Danielle designed a stamp inspired by these sheets. Here's the card I created using Punchinella and Sailmate!

To create the background for the talk bubble, I watercolored my punchinella stamp with colors that mixed well. I then stamped my sentiment and A Lot to Say stamp in black. I adhered it to a piece of cardstock that I had previously stamped using Sailmate as well. To finish off the card, I added some gold sequins from N&T.

So how'd you like the release?! Some awesome sets were released and I surely hope you go and get them. They're wonderful and useful in any collection. Also, there's a sale going on for older sets from N&T. The discount is already applied on the website! Make sure to stop by and see what they have to offer.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Neat and Tangled July Release Day 3

How many Star Wars fans out there?! Well Neat and Tangled came up with a set that's right up your alley! :) Today we're showcasing Time Warp and A Long Time Ago. For my card, I wanted to create something a little more manly. So here's what I came up with!

I first water colored the background with different colors. I then took Time Warp and white heat embossed it. To finish the card off, I took a piece of vellum and stamped the sentiment and black heat embossed. To finish the card off, I stapled it and added it to a piece of black cardstock!

Super simple and fun to create!! So make sure you stop by the DTs blogs to see the rest!! :) Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you tomorrow for our last day of release week!!

So it's Day 2 of the release and today we're showing you Sailmates. I just gasped when I saw this set. Some of you may not know but my husband is in the Navy and this set is PERFECT for when he's out to sea to send him a just because card! :)

To start off, I watercolored the background and then heat embossed the waves. I then colored a sailboat and added it to the cardbase. To finish it off, I fussy cut around the red stamped heart, popped it up and added some red glitter!

Here's what the inside looks like!! :)  Make sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs so you can see all what this awesome stamp can create!! :) See you tomorrow!

RIC #64

Hi! I'll have two posts for you today. First is for the Runway Inspired Challenge and the second is for Day 2 of the Neat and Tangled Release! :)

I fell in love with the inspiration photo Jen provided for us! It's so fun and something I'd totally wear!

Here's what I created using one of Mama Elephant's stamps!

I first started by watercoloring the background purple. I then added stars in different colors all over the background. To finish it off, I added the sentiment in black ink. Here's a close up for you!

The white pigment ink wasn't actually showing up like I'd hoped so I went back in with my white gel pen and filled in the stars :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you definitely play along with us this week!

Neat and Tangled July Release Day 1

Hi!! Today Neat and Tangled's Design Team is showing you one of their new stamp sets, Gifts for You. This stamp set is just so much fun!! It's perfect for Birthdays! Here's what I created :)

I used the little image stamps to create a background that would go behind my tag. On a separate piece of coordinating cardstock, I stamped the tag image and heat embossed the sentiments! I then added some twine and popped it all up on foam dots! To finish the card off, I adhered it with more foam dots to a piece of mint cardstock.

Well that's it from me today! Make sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs and for the next few days. We have some awesome products to show you!!!
