Pinkfresh Studios June Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Today, Pinkfresh Studios is having a blog hop for the release of their June Embellishment Kit. You should have arrived here from Jessy's blog but if there's a little mixup, you can always start back at the Pinkfresh Studio blog!

Here's what I created to celebrate the hop!

Mostly every product I used can be found at Pinkfresh Studios! To start off the card, I took a piece of white cardstock, cut and scored it. I took some pink spray mist and splattered the base.  I then took three different pieces of paper from Up in the Clouds collection and made little banners. I stapled them to the front of the card.

Next I took Smile, which is in the embellishment kit and covered it with Versamark and gold glitter embossing powder and heat set it. It's super pretty in person and you can still see the detail on the word! Next on a scrap piece of paper, I stamped the awesome stamp set with melon colored ink. I then die cut them using the die cut found in the kit. I arranged the letters to spell friend and popped them up with foam dots. :) To finish off the card, I added sequins!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Make sure to stop by all the blogs on the blog hop and then return to the Pinkfresh Studios blog and comment for a chance to be entered into the giveaway for one of these kits!! You have till June 22 to comment :)

Runway Inspired Challenge #84

Click HERE to see my post featuring Pinkfresh Studios recent Kit release!

<3

Hi again! I have another post. On this post, I'll be showing you a simple card I made inspired from this week's inspiration photo!

To start the card off, I cut and scored a piece of A2 cardstock. With a Winnie & Walter stamp, I stamped triangle images in different colors to mock the outfit. I then diecut happy from one of their dies in black paper. I placed it atop the card with glue.

With blank ink, I stamped the sentiment. It's from a coordinating set that works with the die which is also from Walter & Winnie. Lastly to finish off the card, I added black sequins and rounded the top corner. :)

That's pretty much it from me today! Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

May Embellishment Kit

Hi there!! I'm going to be showing off the latest Kit release from Pinkfresh Studios! There were a ton of little goodies that came out with the May Kit. I used a few different products. So let's get started!

To start the card off I cut and scored a piece of white cardstock. On one side, I added a piece of adhesive and covered it with glitter. I then took a stamp set from Winnie & Walter [not included in the kit] and stamped the rose image. On a separate piece of paper, I die cut the banner from a die that comes in the kit. It also has this awesome matching stamp set from Winnie & Walter. In coordinating inks, I stamped the banner onto the die cut piece.

I adhered the banner to the base of the card with foam adhesive. I then added some strong adhesive to the back of the copper flair badge and adhered it to the base. In the kit, there are some awesome epoxy stickers. I took a couple and added them to the card. With some sequins I had laying around, I added a few to the front for a little more embellishment. To finish off the card, I rounded the corner at the bottom. It just looked lonely down there to me! :)

And that's about it from me today!! I hope you liked my card! If you instagram, make sure to add this so we can see your awesome projects! -->> #pinkfreshstudiokit

Pinkfresh Studios May Kit Bloghop!

Hi and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio May Embellishment Kit Release blog hop! You should be arriving to my blog from Jessy's blog! If you stumbled across my blog and would like to see the rest of the design team's inspiration, you can always start at the Pinkfresh Studio Blog!

Today I'm sharing a fun little card I made using the embellishment kit and a stamp set from Aletnew.  To start off, I stamped the floral images in coordinating colors from various companies. I fussy cut around the flowers. On a separate piece of cardstock, I used the adorable stamp which is included in the sent from Winnie and Walter and stamped a heart background. After, I used the washi tape to create a top and bottom look. I then placed the flowers on top of the card.

With one of the inks I used for the flowers, I stamped 'hello' which is also from the included stamp set! To finish it off, I added some of these adorable little heart sequins! I'm just in love with this kit. It's perfect for a cardmaker!! :)

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and make sure to like Pinkfresh Studios on Facebook and Instagram and comment on their blog [the May kit release post] for a chance to win the May kit.

Runway Inspired Challenge #83

Hi! I'm here today with a post for the Runway Inspired Challenge. Here's what I came up with. :)

I used a background stamp to create the brick look for the background in Fog ink from SSS. After stamping the floral images from Altenew's Vintage Roses, I fussy cut around them and placed them how I wanted on the front. With the love die from Winnie and Walter, I die cut a few pieces of black cardstock and glued them together. On top, I added a piece of gold glitter cardstock and added it to the front of the card. To finish it off, I added sequins! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!! :)

NSD Color Challenge!

It's National Scrapbook Day!! Yay! :) So many wonderful companies are celebrating today and lucky for you, I'm here with Pinkfresh Studios and Winnie & Walter to celebrate today. They're having a ton of challenges throughout the day on both blogs. I'm participating in the Color Challenge. And I absolutely love the colors they chose!

Here's what I created.

Here is the inspiration photo for the challenge. It's super fun!

So, to start this card, I took a piece of Marshmallow cardstock from Bazzill, cut and scored it. On a separate piece of cardstock, I used a stencil from Winnie and Walter, The Big, the Bold and Extras Creative Screenings. I stenciled the flowers and leaves in different inks. After fussy cutting around the images, I decided on placement. Using glue and foam adhesive, I adhered the flowers.

For the center of the flowers, I used gold embellishments from the February Kit.  With a piece of gold glitter paper from American Crafts, I die cut the word happy from Winnie & Walter's The Big, the Bold and the Happy Cutaways. I adhered it with foam adhesive. For the word SO, I used puffy stickers from Pinkfresh's current kit found HERE.  The black rain stones are also from the same kit!

So make sure to join the challenge! You have until May 9th to do so and you will have a chance to win a prize from Pinkfresh Studios! :)

Sweet Stamp Shop Grand Re-Opening

Today I'm hopping along in a blog hop celebrating Sweet Stamp Shop's Grand Re-Opening! When Nicole asked if anyone would want to participate, I knew I wanted to join. Nicole and Jacob are seriously the sweetest people around and I just couldn't resist!

So we all know I'm about gold. Anything gold so of course, I decided to use one of their newer stamps from their state collection. I can't wait for all the other states to come out!!! I'm going to get the WHOLE collection! :) Anyways, their California Lovin stamp set was perfect. You'll see why!

I first took a piece of Kraft cardstock and stamped one of the little heart images over and over with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with gold powder.  I also stamped Golden using the same technique on vellum. I fussy cut around the sentiment.

I then took a few strips of paper and made my own little banners! On one, I stamped another sentiment and heat embossed it with white embossing powder! After, I adhered it all to the front using a staple and pop up dots! To finish off the card, I added some sequins, of course!! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish Sweet Stamp Shop all the luck in the world wiht their new grand opening! :):)

Little Tangles April Guest Designer

When I was approached by Heather, the Design Team Leader of the Little Tangles Challenge to guest design this month I was so excited!  I just couldn't help but to say yes!!! The challenge this month is focusing on my favorite... SEQUINS! Ahh! My kind of challenge! Here's what I came up with!

To start off, I took a piece of blank cardstock and blended pink at the top and blue at the bottom. I then took a few different colors and stamped the sequin images from Crafting is my Jam.  On a separate piece, I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut around the image. I adhered it with foam dots and then stamped the second part of the sentiment in black ink. I then die cut a frame from a piece of scrap Dotted Swiss paper from Bazzill and adhered it as well with foam dots. To finish off the card, I added different sequins in different colors.

I love how it turned out! Super fun and colorful! :)  Well thank you so much for stopping by! It's always, always appreciated!

March Challenges!!

Hi!! So today I'm entering three separate cards into different challenges! :)

The first card I'm entering into the Sparkle and Shine Challenge

It was a sketch challenge using this sketch! I knew I wanted to make a shaker card so I went from there! :)

For this card, I started off with the large bolded chevrons from Winnie and Walter using V for cheVron. I am in love with this set. I love chevrons so when I saw it, I knew I just had to have it! I stamped it using Peach Bellini from MFT on a piece of Marshmallow cardstock from Bazzill. I then took the outline chevron stamped and stamped over top with Grout Grey from MFT.

I then used The Big, the Bold and the Happy Cutaways die from W&W to die cut hello. With a piece of acetate, I glued it to the backside of the cardstock. I then glued the remaining pieces onto the front of the acetate. Some foam adhesive was put onto the backside of the cardstock, peach sequins and glitter hearts were added and it was adhered to a piece of grey cardstock!

To finish off the card, I took a piece of Bazzill vellum and cut a border using their Scallop die. I adhered it with a little glue. To finish it off, I added some of the peach sequins to the outside of the card! :)

On to the next! :) This card will be entered into Altenew's March Challenge! They had gorgeous inspiration photos to follow!

I first started off with a piece of Marshallow cardstock. I then took the scroll pieces from Lacy Scrolls and stamped them all over the background in Versafine Black Onyx.  I then took the peonies and stamped them in VersaMark ink and covered them in gold embossing powder. After heat setting it, I fussy cut around the images. It would make it 100x easier if I ordered their new dies!

To finish off the card, I added some gold string, popped the flowers up on foam adhesive and attached it all to a piece of white cardstock! :) It's pretty elegant and I think would make a perfect card for a wedding or shower!

For my third card [yes, I know it's a lot in one day lol] I made a card for the AEIHeartUChallenge! The challenge was to incorporate stripes into our cards and here's what I came up with. I'm also going to enter it into the MFT Color Challenge

To start off, I took a look in my stash at different inks! I pulled from my MFT inks that matched the colors we were to use since I do not have the exact colors: Peach BelliniGrout Grey, Bubblegum, and Berrylicious. I used a stencil from W&W to make the stripes. I used a stamp set from Avery Elle, Petals and Stems. For the flower, I stamped it all in Soft Cantalope and then took Pale Tomato and barely stamped the bottom. I did the same for the leaves in Grout Grey and Berrylicious! To finish off the card, I added coordinating sequins... of course! :)

Well thank you so much for stopping by!! It's always appreciated! :)

Waffle Flower Challenge: Shaker Card!

I'm joining the Waffle Flower Challenge today! Yay! :) I made this card right before I had to leave for work today so that's pretty awesome ;) I'm so excited to join the challenge. I just received new goodies from Waffle Flower which are nothing short of amazing plus the challenge inspiration was great so I just had to make something! Oh, and just to add. For some reason I thought the inspiration colors involved lavender... I don't know what I was seeing. But I think I got the other colors right! ha! :)

So I'm on this new shaker card kick. I don't know what took me so long to get into it but here I am and it's the second day I've made a shaker card [my other will be posted on the Bazzill blog in a couple days.. yay!] Anyways, I'm a late bloomer when it comes to shaker cards.

So I started with a piece of cardstock I blended with some ink. I die cut an oval using a Lil Inker die. I then adhered a piece of acetate onto the back and also covered the back with some foam adhesive. On a seperate piece of white cardstock, I used Pattern Play from WF to make a fun little design using coordinating colors from the inspiration! I then gathered a ton of sequins and put them in the center and placed the blended piece on top.

I then used the In Every Way Stamp set and stamped some of the floral images along with the sentiment. I fussy cut around everything and popped it up on foam adhesive. I just can't tell you how much I LOVED how this turned out!

Thank you so much for stopping by! It's always so greatly appreciated :)

RIC #80

Yay!! I'm finally back to making cards for the Runway Inspired Challenge!! I was so super excited to join again and there was this awesome runway dress to get creative ideas for!

So here's what I came up with!!

For this one, I used Lacy Scrolls from Altenew. First the background was stamped with multiple images from the set using Fog from Simon Says Stamp. Then the flowers and leaves were stamped with Orange Zest from My Favorite Things and Audrey Blue from Simon Says Stamp.  Copics were used to color the flowers so dimension could be added. The flowers were fussy cut and adhered to the base. To finish it off, sequins were added... of course :)

Can't wait to see what you come up with and thank you so much for stopping by!

Embossed Birthday Wishes

Hi there!! I have a card I wanted to share with you! :) It as a fun card I created using an embossing technique. I love the look of embossing overtop a stamped image. :)

I first started out with a piece of cardstock [Bazzill Coconut Swirl] and stamped my images. I had to mask a few times and it was a little time consuming but I love the final look! I used a stamp set from Altenew, Painted Flowers. It's a super fun set! The inks I used were Versafine Black Onyx, Hero Arts Pale Tomato, Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe, and Hero Arts Lime Green. :) After stamping my images, I added my sentiment from PTI. I then ran it through with a dotted embossing folder! Lastly I added some Neat and Tangled sequins!

This card is being entered into Virginia's View Challenge! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Little Tangles Challenge 54 Take 2!

Hi y'all!! I'm going to share a card I created using just a few easy steps! To start the card off, I gathered all my necessary supplies. For this card, I stamped my background using Neat and Tangled's Paper Flowers onto Marshmellow Cardstock from Bazzill. The images always come out so crisp on this paper. It's my go to paper for stamping. I cut the bottom of the paper at an angle.

mim

For the next step, I die cut the word happy [Heidi Swapp die] a number of times from the same white paper. I then die cut happy from the bottom of my stamped image. I adhered the stamped image to some Marshmellow Cardstock.

mim2

I glued some of the happy dies together to to give it a thick cardstock feel and snuggled it into the paper's negative space.

mim3

Here you can see the thickness of the die cuts. I originally had die cut 5 words but realized after putting 4 together, it was thick enough!

mim4

I then started paper piecing it back together using some Tombow Mono glue!

mim10

Here's a closeup when I was finished piecing everything together.

mim5

It took a little while to finish but I think the end result turned out FAB-U-LOUS [in the Grinch's happy voice]. :)

mim6

I'll be entering this into the Little Tangles Challenge! :) Make sure to check it out. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Little Tangles Challenge 54: Anything Goes

Hey there! I have a card I made using some supplies from Neat and Tangled! :) I am in love with everything they come out with. They have super fresh and really unique designs. Literally, I'm in love with everything... it's a problem. lol

For this card, I took a piece of Bazzill Jawbreaker cardstock and cut and scored it into an A2 top folding card. On a separate piece of Bazzill Coconut Swirl paper, stamped the images using Avery Elle Pigment inks. I then fussy cut around the images. I stamped the sentiment onto the card and then ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing folder. Afterwards, I placed the images onto the front using foam adhesive. Lastly, Crystal Clear sequins from Neat and Tangled were added for a little extra pizazz!

I really love how this turned out. The stamp set is awesome. The inks are awesome. The paper is awesome. It's just all awesome... in my book at least! :)

I'll be entering this into the Little Tangles Challenge!! :) I'm also going to enter this into Virginia's View Challenge! Thank you so much for stopping by!
