PTI Blog Hop

Here's the card I made for the blog hop over at PTI. Here's the inspiration photo!

And here's what I came up with. I used PTI cardstock for the background. I embossed it with yellow embossing powder from PTI with their chevron stamps on a tilt. The flowers are stamped with the Dahlia stamp from PTI as well with Memento Ink. They were watercolored over with Inktense pencils. Thanks for stopping by!! :)

This will also be entered into SimonSays Challenge this week found here.

Monday Mood Board #10

Here's another Monday Mood Board! I love these things :) The inspiration photos are wonderful every single week. Here's what it was this week!

Isn't it gorgeous!? I love everything about this photo. The ikat, lace, colors! Well here's what I came up with. :)

I used a piece of PTI cardstock and folded it to a size A2 card. I then took a piece of white and stamped it with Hero Arts Shadow Inks using an Ikat stamp from PTI. I took a piece of doily and adhered it along with a piece of vellum going over a piece of the card. I stamped a sentiment from WPlus9 with versamark ink and covered it with Hero Arts embossing powder. To finish it off, I added enamel dots for an extra pop!

Cool Shades

Paper Smooches is having a challenge over at their blog. It's a cool shades challenge. Here is the inspiration colors.

I first took a piece of white card stock and scored it. I stamped a piece of card stock with Paper Smooches stamps and then covered it with white embossing powder. It was heat set afterwards. Then I took a few different distress inks and blended the background together. I placed the sheet on a piece of stone card stock and adhered it to the base. With a scrap of stone card stock I had left over, I stamped it with a sentiment from Stampin' Up and heat embossed it with teal powder. I popped it up on pop dots for added dimension. Finally I added some enamel accents. Thanks for stopping by the blog! :)

Monday Mood Board #9

Here's a card for Monday's Mood Board over at WPlus9. Dawn always comes up with some awesome mood boards. This week's kind of reminded me of Christmas. That's alright with me though. I love Christmas ;)

So I came up with this design! I used PTI background paper and all the stamps are from WPlus9! They have some amazing ones! :)

I embossed the sentiment with white powder and adhered it to a piece of Bazzell Marshmallow card stock! Everything was popped up on dimensionals. :)

Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for stopping by!

You make my days brighter

Here's a fun and happy card!

First I started with a piece of PTI cardstock and scored it. I then took a piece of aqua cardstock and outlined clouds with white ink. For the lanterns from Avery Elle, I colored them with Copic markers. I then colored them with Glossy Accents. I stamped a sentiment from PTI on the bottom and added a few pearls I received from Oozak.com. They have really good prices on a lot of things by the way! ;) I've ordered from them a few times. Anyways, the strings for the lanterns was drawn by my Copic multi-liner.

This card will be entered into Avery Elle's April Challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

I've been dying to use this branch I got from SSS and I finally got the chance! I used a free digital stamp from Avery Elle. I love these lanterns! Too cute!

First I scored a piece of cardstock from PTI. I then took a piece of SSS water color paper and with distress inks, watercolored the back. I dried it with my heat tool.  I then stamped Happy Birthday from SSS in Versamark, covered it in white embossing powder and finally heat embossed it. For the lanterns, I colored them with Copics and covered them with Glossy Accents. I drew black lines with my Copic mutli-liner for the strings. I adhered them with pop up dots. I then added dash lines around the outside with my uniball pen. Loved the final result! :)

This will be entered into Avery Elle's April Challenge. It's also being entered in the CAS challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Cloud 9 Challenge

When I saw the inspiration picture over at Cloud 9's April Challenge, I knew I had to participate. I thought it would be easy. Needless to say, I had a lot of mess ups. Nothing I wanted to use seemed to go together well and I would have silly stamping or embossing mistakes. It was honestly a disaster. So I decided to give it a day and come back to it. So glad I did because I love the final results.

First I took a piece of red cardstock from PTI and scored it. I took another piece of PTI cardstock and stamped it with PTI's Irristably Ikat stamp in Lucky Limeade from Stampin' Up. Next I took a pice of PTI cardstock and heat embossed it with an image from W9Plus. I love those little sayings. Too cute! I adhered it to the bottom of the card.

Then I took one of the recent release stamps from PTI, Wonderful Words: Hello mini stamp and stamped it in Versa Mark ink. I took Stampin' Ups Gold embossing power and covered it then heat embossed it. I am just in LOVE with this powder. I took some clear foam adhesive from SSS and popped it up for some added dimension.

To finish it off, I added some gold sequins that I bought off Etsy! Love me some Etsy :) Well I hope everyone enjoys the card as much as I do! Now who to send it to?

hi

I'm joining a challenge over at Paper Smooches. We have to follow this cute little layout and this is what I came up with. I used a paper smooch stamp. I heat embossed the flower. After I was finished, I blended different ranger inks to create the colorful background. I wrapped some twine around and then adhered the flower. I heat embossed a simple greeting to the bottom. To finish it off, I added a few sequins I actually just got in the mail today! Just in time! ;)

I quite like you a lot

I decided to join wplus9's challenge this week. I loved their inspiration photo. I really just copied it with mostly wplus9 stamps and some PTI stamps for the fill ins. I think it's adorable! :) For the inks, I used Stampin' Up and Hero Arts Shadow Inks.

This is also being entered into a new challenge blog. Sister Act Card Challenge. We'll see how it goes! :)

Happy Birthday!

Here's another card I made for SSS's 4 year Birthday Challenge. I took a piece of Bazzell cardstock and  scored it. I then took a piece of stone paper from PTI and heat embossed it with a background stamp. A piece of cardstock from SSS was added. I then took one of PTI's new stamp sets, Cutting Garden and used Hero Arts Shadow Ink to ink it up. The leaves were inked with Stampin' Up ink. With ranger ink, I inked up a scrap of paper after heat embossing Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday SSS! You're such a fabulous company :)

Birthday Wishes

Here's a simple card. I made it for the challenge over at SimonSaysStamp. It's their 4 year Birthday. I absolutely love SSS. They have wonderful products and their customer service is amazing! The challenge was to create a birthday card. Here's what I came up with!

I embossed the bottom of a piece of Bazzell white cardstock with a polka dot plate from Stampin' Up. I then added a strip of striped cardstock. The stamp Birthday Wishes is from PTI. I love that set! I then took the flower from SimonSaysStamp's February kit and heat embossed it. I then went over top with a couple of different Ranger inks. It was popped up with dimensionals. I added a flower to the inside of the card as well!

This card will also be entered into a challenge over at Sister Act Card Challenge! :)
