Runway Inspired Challenge #38

I am in love with Runway Inspired Challenges. They definitely test me but I really like them. This was the inspiration for the challenge.

For my creation, I embossed the background to give some texture like her outfit. I chose white to compliment her shoes. Then I pulled in the lilac, green and coral colors. I colored them onto vellum to give it a softer look. For the sentiment from PTI, I used wet cement Hero Shadow Arts Ink. I die cut little hearts into a couple of the banners using a Simon Says Stamp die. Lastly, I colored a heart and covered it with glossy accents.

Sweet Stamp Shop sets :)

Hi again! I've joined a few challenges. The first challenge I joined was Retro Sketches.

I also loved this color combination from The Play Date Cafe so I decided to use this :)

Here's the card I came up with. The sentiment is from Baby Love over at Sweet Stamp Shop. I used May Arts Ribbon and Annette Allen buttons. :)

I also made another card for the challenge. I used Under the Sea by Sweet Stamp Shop. I just colored the image with Copics.

For the last challenge, I joined the Fusion Challenge. It's my first time joining. We'll see how it goes :)

I used glue tape and covered them with glitter for the strips. I also used Under the Sea for the sentiments and images as well. :)

Sweet Stamp Shop Release

Hi Lovelies! :) If you've been over to the Sweet Stamp Shop's Blog, you've seen that I'm one of the new designers for this amazing company. I am so excited to take part in designing cards for all of our sweet customers. Every week, I'll post a new CAS in 5 steps or less on the Sweet Blog :)

The big release today featured three awesome stamps. I have two to show you: Spin Me and Wheely Like You.  Make sure you scroll to the bottom to see how you can win a sweet gift and also find a great discount code for these new sets!

The first set I'd like to show you is Spin Me. This set is so much fun. It has border stamps, sentiments and is just plain awesome!

This is a very clean and simple design and it's fantabulous! ;) I colored the fan with Copics (LOVE!), cut it out and popped it all up on foam dots!

With this card, I heat embossed one of the border stamps and then watercolored it. It was so much fun making this card and the color pop is too awesome! I also heat embossed the sentiment. I then added a couple hearts I watercolored. For a finishing touch, I added some enamel dots and dash lines. 

Next up is Wheely Like You.

I wanted to do something a tad different. First, I heat embossed the side of the card and the arrow with gold embossing powder. I love gold and it's so in style! Then I stamped the bullseyes and popped the strip of coordinating cardstock and arrow all up on foam dots.

Make it Monday--PTI

Here I am back for another week at PTI. It was a really fun challenge. We had to make little banners. I don't have any banner dies though so I made all mine from scratch ;) This is the final result.

It'll be perfect for a newborn baby girl! So excited to give this one away so my friends need to start having more babies. lol Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle May Challenge

 I am in love with Avery Elle. They're having a release soon and I'm so excited for all of their products. This was the inspiration photo. It reminded me of being back in FL. Well, our water in Jacksonville didn't look like this but it sure did when we went on our vacations to the Keys. :) Sure do miss that! Until then, I'll just enjoy San Diego's weather a little more. 

Here is my take on the photo. I definitely wanted to pull in some of the teal colors. They are so calming. I used an Avery Elle stamp, Knotty. The stripes were stamped in Hero Arts Shadow Inks, Pool, Neon Blue, Tide Pool and Soft Pool. For the anchor, I heat embossed onto vellum. I wanted to soften the card a bit. I then embossed the sentiment and added a heart with glossy accents.
