Sweet Stamp Shop July Release

Hey y'all! Today's the day for Sweet Stamp Shop's July Release. Three new sets were released today.

Of course for the release, Sweet Stamp Shop is offering a code for 30% off of every regular priced stamp in the shop! The code is NRJ30. It's good through tomorrow so definitely get over to the shop to pick some new goodies up!

Now, for my card. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a couple stamp sets in time for the big release. No worries though. Zombies was more than enough for me!! Here's what I came up with. :)

I watercolored the images and then fussy cut around them. For the borders, I hand drew them. I liked the messiness of it. After placing it, I added some red Stickles to her lips for a little pop! How perfect is this set? It could be used for Halloween... invites... Zombie movie marathon... just about anything!

Here's the second!

So, let's wrap it up!

Clearly Besotted Challenge #2

Hi guys!! So I just received my first stamp set from Clearly Besotted. It's their Fancy Feathers set. I LOVE it. It's so fun. :) I joined their challenge this week, Seeing Spots.

I used Papertrey Ink paper, of course. The feathers were stamped with gold embossing powder. I also covered the sides of the card in gold powder to tie it all together!

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Curtain Call Challenge

There's a new (at least to me) challenge I'm joining today, Curtain Call Challenge. The theme was nautical. Of course every time I think of nautical, I think of my hubby since he's in the Navy. Well sadly I don't have any US Navy types of stamps but I do have this cute set from Avery Elle. So I decided to use that one. :)

Well this is my little creation. Maybe I'll send it to him when he goes on deployment! As always, thanks for stopping by! :)

Runway Inspired Take 2 :)

Okay, I was just so inspired by this photo, I had to do another card for The Runway Challenge

Here's my second take! I love the geometrical shapes. :)

Happy Birthday: Circus Themed

Hi there! Welcome back to this week's CAS in 5 or less. Today I have a fun birthday card to share with y'all. I used the stamp set, Admit One. This set it wonderful for birthdays. Circus themes have always been so adorable to me and this set is perfect. :)

I wanted to use the elephant as a background stamp so that was my starting point.

For the colors, I chose to use Hero Arts Shadow Inks: Butter Bar, Orange Soda, Green Hills and Tide Pool. The colors come together nicely on the card together and are just so much fun.

It may be a tad hard to see in the picture but to line up the elephants up just right I added pencil lines on the card for a guideline. It helped a lot when stamping. After I finished, I erased the lines.

I adhered a piece of matching cardstock to the right side of the card. I then popped up my main piece on foam dots. Of course I decided to stamp my sentiment after I had popped it up. It was uneven but I later filled it in with my Copic multiliner!!

To add a little pizzazz to the card, I added some clear sequins. Finally I chomped a couple corners. :)

This is going to be entered into the Runway Inspired Challenge! Thanks for stopping by :) See y'all soon!
