PTI February Blog Hop

I'm joining the blog hop over at PTI. It's theme is Spring. I LOVE Spring but there doesn't seem to be much of that in San Diego. Oh, well. Nice weather throughout the year I guess is worth the sacrifice.

Neat and Tangled Release Day 4

It's release day over at Neat and Tangled and I am so excited! Four new sets were released today!! Today I'm showing Diamonds. It's such a great background stamp!!

Neat and Tangled Release Day 3

It's day 3 for the Neat and Tangled release and I have an awesome stamp set to show you! :) Today we're showcasing Stop + Go. This is a super versatile stamp has all of your go to sayings in it. It also coordinates well with On the Corner.

Here is the card I'm showing today!

For this card, I took a piece of light teal cardstock. I then took a distress ink, Peacock Feathers and blended the around the outside of the card to make it look like something you'd see off of Instagram! I then stamped a few of the sentiments with Versamark and heat embossed them with white powder. 

To finish off the card, I added a popped up pink heart and covered it with glossy accents. :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed the card today! I think this is by far my most favorite card, EVER! See you tomorrow for the big release!!

Neat and Tangled Release Day 2

Hey there!! This is my second post today. Make sure to scroll back to see my Runway Inspired Challenge post earlier.

Today, unfortunately I wasn't able to make a card for the awesome stamp release that is being shown today. But I can only image the goodies I create with it when it comes time to create something!!!

Today's set is an add on set to the ever infamous On the Corner. 

Well Danielle has done it again and released some awesome sentiments to go inside that road sign!

RIC #54

Today is RIC day!! I just love the inspiration Jen had for us this week! I hope you do too! :)

Here's the card I came up with. Just a forewarning... the angle on my photo looks a bit wonky. Oops! lol

Anyways, I took a striped stencil and created my pattern with distress ink. I then took pieces of cardstock and layered them to create the stripes in the dress. To finish it off, I added a die cut from SSS, covered it with black enamel and added sequins. :)

Neat and Tangled Release Day 1

Hey there! It's release day over at Neat and Tangled and we have 4 full days of awesomeness coming your way. Today we're showing off Hope Anchors which will be available for purchase this Thursday, 2/20. It's an adorable 3x4 stamp with an inspirational saying. Of course I thought of my husband first when I saw this with me being a Navy wife and all :)

Don't you just love the colors? I feel like spring is in the air when I use these colors! The two colors I used were soft granite and tide pool from Hero Arts Shadow Inks. The anchor was covered with silver Ranger embossing powder.

I made some cards to celebrate PTI's 7th Birthday!! I'm in love with their products and have been for some time. They were one of the first stamp companies I ever purchased from! :) Here's to many more years of wonderful stamps from them!

PTI Challenge

Hi there!! :) Today I wanted to play along with PTI. They had some free printable images available and I made a couple of cards with some of them. Here they are! 

It's a super quick post today. Off to Jazzercise! And yes, I Jazzercise and I love it!

Lil Inker Designs Day 3

Well today's the last day of our awesome blog hop! The projects from the other ladies are absolutely stunning and I'm so happy to be on such a wonderful team as them! It doesn't hurt that the products we work with are amazing too!

Today I wanted to save the best for last, at least in my opinion! I used the new stitched hearts die and also Today, Right? stamp set. I'm completely in love with how this came out and I hope you do too!

To start the card out, I cut some strips of scrap peach cardstock and placed them on the card. I then die cut a heart from a pool colored cardstock. For the arrow, I actually used the Flags and Tags die cut. I used the banner die cut and manipulated it into an arrow. I'll have to get the Of the Hearts die. There's already an arrow in there and I'm all about easy ;)

After everything was cut and stamped, I placed it all on the card with foam dots! :)

The next card I made using the new cloud die! It's a cute easy simple card to make!

Lil Inker Designs Day 2

I'm back today for Day 2 of Lil Inker's Release! The first product I'm showing you is the Give a Hoot gift card holder. Isn't this adorable!? I created mine using a piece of patterned cardstock and coordinating pink cardstock. I love how it turned out. I can't wait to make these for gifts!

The next card I made is using It's Today, Right? stamp set. I love the simplicity of this set. I'll definitely be giving this to my husband on our anniversary coming up!

Runway Inspired Challenge #53

Time is flying by so fast! Here's the next challenge for the RIC! Isn't that dress gorgeous?! Below is my take on the dress!

I used the Mendhi set from Lil Inker Designs. I'm in LOVE with this set! I colored the flowers with Copics and then went back with a VersaMark pen to fill in some spaces. I then covered those spots with gold embossing powder. I really like how the card turned out.

Lil Inker Release Day 1

Hey there!! Today's release day over at Lil Inker! Some awesome products were released today and I have some fun projects to show you! :)

For my first, I used Anytime Tags Die set and also Stay Beautiful Stamp set. These tag dies are to die for, literally! There's every perfect size, from big to small. 

To start this card off, I cut a few strips of black cardstock. I glued them onto a base diagonally. Next I die cut a piece of vellum and patterned cardstock.  On top of the vellum, I heat embossed the sentiment. This set has so many wonderful, uplifting quotes. I tied the two pieces together with hemp twine and popped them up with foam dots. 

For an extra little touch, I added sequins... of course!! :P

For my next project I used the new Stitched Hearts die set! ADORABLE! I die cut several pieces from various patterns. Also using the Flags and Tags Dies, I cut a piece of vellum and cardstock. I stamped the sentiment using the Spot On stamp set and heat set it.
